Dr. Jane Matthews:

Dr. Jane Matthews is a 1978 graduate of Texas A & M. She established Copperfield Animal Clinic in 1983.

Her practice includes the general medicine and surgery of dogs and cats.

Horses are her after work passion. After showing jumpers for many years, she has switched to riding cutting horses.

Another favorite pastime is riding on the back of her husband's Harley.

Living in the country, she has accumulated many animal friends which include 8 cats, 1 dog and 10 horses.

Dr. Matthews is usually at the clinic on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Dr. Stephanie Zeisloft:

Dr. Stephanie Zeisloft, or Dr. Z. to most of us, moved to the Houston area from Southern California when she was eleven.

She graduated from Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas and went on to Texas A & M  University in College Station.

 Dr. Z. received her Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from TAMU in 2001 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

After graduating, Dr. Z. spent her first year in practice in Amarillo, Texas.

In April 2006, the Zeisloft family moved back to Houston and Dr.  Z. came to Copperfield Animal Clinic.

She loved the area so much that she and her husband bought their first home right here in Copperfield.

In addition to her husband Chris, Dr. Z. loves to spend time with her dog, a goldendoodle named Bailey (who was a rescue in her first year of practice),

and her cat Yao Anne (a rescued barn cat).

The Zeisloft family added a new member on April 14th, 2010.

 AUDREY LARUE ZEISLOFT  was born, weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces,  and measuring 18.75 inches

Dr. Zeisloft is usually at the clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and alternate Saturdays.
